The school committee election for 2021 is scheduled for May 18th. This election is very important, not only for the parents of Sharon, but also for students like myself. In this blog, I will be interviewing the candidates, and asking them some important questions, as well as some not so important ones : )

   

 To interview the candidates, I presented them with a few choices - an in-person interview, a zoom interview or a form to fill out. All candidates were contacted, most of them have responded with their answers, or requested interviews. I hope the others respond too, so I can publish their views. 

     

I had a great time talking to the candidates, and it was a lot of fun learning about them. For me interacting with them made them from names I see on lawn signs to real people. The candidates I interviewed were all very patient, dealing with a 7th grader who up until last year, didn't even know there was a school committee. In all honesty, they were all amazing, and had the interest of Sharon students and educators at heart.
